Vibration measurements in hot industrial environments

Non-contact vibration measurements performed by laser techniques are extremely interesting for applications in all cases where the object under test shall not be perturbed by the physical contact with a sensor or when the testing condition does not allow to use traditional techniques based on accelerometers, i.e hot objects/surfaces.
Julight Laser Vibrometers allow to perform vibration measurements in hot industrial environments in a range of temperature of -20 °C up to +80 °C in his basic version. By using the High temperature optical head the temperature range can be extended up to +150 °C.

Julight performed experimental measurements at the plant Arvedi S.p.a. in order to measure and study the vibration of a stopper-maneuver system used for the control and regulation of the flow of molten steel.
